Have you not been out to the beautiful new SRP Park yet? Why not? Well, if baseball isn’t quite your thing, there’s something going on at the new North Augusta ballpark this weekend that you just might be interested in.
The third annual Augusta Craft Beer Festival has moved there — hey, just like the GreenJackets did! There’s something for every beer lover, with more than 40 hand-selected local, regional and national breweries. You’ll be able to partake from noon to 5 p.m. this Saturday, April 21.
Put on by World of Beer, the festival will also have great live music, food, games and vendors.
Fifty dollars gets you general admission, which includes a 5-ounce Belgian tasting glass with unlimited samples and free drinking water. Not a drinker but still want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings? The $20 Designated Driver ticket will get you in, as well as get you a voucher for food and a bottomless soda from the GreenJackets concession stand.
Other sponsors include Augusta Sports Leagues, the Augusta GreenJackets, the Hive Growler Bar and Beasley Broadcasting.
Oh, and the weather forecast for Saturday is beautiful: High of 75, mostly sunny and pleasant. Spending the day outdoors at this festival, on a day like that, sounds like the perfect Saturday to us.
